I started tutoring as an 8th grader as a part of the National Junior Honor Society. Ever since then I was hooked on helping people with Math. I went on to receive 5s on both my AP Calc and AP Stats exams and graduate at the top of my class. After high school, I received a full academic scholarship to Brevard College in North Carolina where I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Mathematics and Education with my secondary teaching credential from the state of North Carolina.
While in Brevard, I ran the Math Department at the Academic Enrichment Center. I was our lead math tutor and oversaw all of the study plans for our math students. I was awarded an Award of Excellence from the ETS for my Mathematical Content Knowledge Exam.
Nobis Pacem is a catholic alternative distance learning option for bilingual families (who speak primarily Spanish and English). We strive to provide bilingual families with tools that help preserve their Spanish mother tongue, while at the same time preparing students to be proficient in English and succeed in college and beyond as capable professionists. Since then, we have been blessed with an enrollment of around 1,000 students per year. Our model is inspired by methods such as Charlotte Mason, Classical Method, and Montessori.

Catholic liberal arts college with summer Great Books Program for high school students
The Angelicum Academy, a fully online Catholic homeschooling program, is excited to announce that after more than 20 years of offering our Great Books Program online in English, we are launching the program in Spanish in the fall of 2022, beginning with the Ancient Greek Year. Spanish-speaking students from around the globe will meet online for a 2-hour Socratic discussion once a week, co-moderated by university professors faithful to the Magisterium. All readings, conversations, and written assignments will be in Spanish. Students 14+ and adults are welcome to join us on Tuesdays from 9-11am PST starting in September.
